Imaging Partners Online has established three purpose built facilities to deliver the highest quality radiology reporting.

The key differentiating features of IPO facilities are:

  • Radiologists use purpose designed workstations comprising of dual monochrome 3 mega pixel monitors
  • Radiologists supported by QA Manager, Correctionist and leading QA processes enabling them to work effectively without interruptions
  • Soft copy reporting facilities with specific software programmes capable of handling large data sets and performing multiplanar reconstructions (MPR and MIPS) for accurate assessment of life threatening conditions
  • Switching reporting between the UK and Australia enables clever use of time zones which means a pool of Radiologists are always available in their "awake "hours"
  • Eliminates the risk of inaccurate reports and medico/legal problems caused by fatigue

 

Radiology Reporting Online 
 
In 2011, Imaging Partners Online UK and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust entered into a joint venture, “Radiology Reporting Online”, to replace Imaging Partners Online UK. The UK based business is operated on a 50:50 ownership basis
 
Radiology Reporting Online (RRO) is an international teleradiology company that will provide general and sub-specialty reporting services to support existing radiology departments in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East.
 
The joint venture operations has incorporated the radiologists and staff previously associated with Imaging Partners Online UK as well as UCLH Radiologists seconded to RRO. The new operations are located on the UCLH campus at Euston Road in the heart of London. RRO has also established a second reporting Centre in Leicester.
 
Overnight reporting for Australian hospitals continues to be undertaken by Imaging Partners Online’s FRANZCR radiologists located in the UCLH campus reporting centre.
 
Similarly, GMC specialist registered radiologists are reporting overnight work for UK hospitals from Imaging Partners Online’s Australian reporting centres.
