Until early 2011 John held the position of Executive Medical Director, and has played a major role in recruiting and retaining an effective medical workforce and in driving IPO forward to its current leadership position. John has been the driving force in the expansion of Imaging Partners Online into the UK market since relinquishing his Medical Director role, bringing the UK Joint Venture between Imaging Partners Online and University College London Hospital from concept to reality. Moving forward, John will be focused on growing the business in both the local and global markets.
John trained in Melbourne (Prince Henry's Hospital & RCH) and then accepted a staff position at the Alfred (interventional) before travelling and working in the UK.
Upon his return he became Managing Partner of Border Medical Imaging which subsequently merged with Riverina Group to form Regional Imaging in which John played a pivotal role as Chairman.
The Regional Group became one of the early members of the I-Med Network and John subsequently became National Medical Director of I-Med Network and was a board member of both I-Med and Lodestone plc (UK). John resigned from these positions in September 2006. John is a past president of the Australian Association of Provisional Radiologists and the Border Medical Association.
John is a founding Principal of Imaging Partners Online and in additional to being a practicing Radiologist within the business, John performs the role of Executive Medical Director.
