Dr Andrew Clarke

Radiologist - London

Dr Clarke relocated to London in 2010 to work as a consultant general radiologist at Imaging Partners Online and as locum consultant radiologist at Kingston Hospital (NHS Trust). DR Clarke has subspecialty training in MSK radiology and is particularly interested in MRI and continues to pursue research projects in this area. As a dual British and New Zealand citizen, registered with both the GMC and AHPRA, Dr Clarke is fully qualified to report for both Australian and UK clients.

Dr Aparna Baruah

Radiologist

Dr.Aparna Baruah completed her physician(MRCPCH) and radiology training in the UK. She was awarded fellowship into the Royal College of Radiologist(London) in 2007 and Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2010. She did a cross-sectional fellowship in Royal Perth Hospital .

She currently works  in a private practice at Perth. She holds specialist registration in diagnostic radiology both in UK and Australia. Her sub-speciality interests include cross-sectional imaging, chest and gynaecology imaging, and teaching.
 

Dr Avi Saks

Radiologist – Sydney

MBChB, DCH, FFRAD, FRANZCR

Dr Saks completed the South African Radiology fellowship in 1989, and an Australian College Radiology fellowship in 1998.

He trained in MRI at Guys and St Thomas' Hospitals in London in 1994, and since then has been actively involved in neuro and MSK MRI reporting at a number of sites.

Dr. Saks' main interest is in cross sectional CT and MRI imaging, with strong skills in plain film reporting, including paediatrics. He has been an examiner for the Australian College Part 2 exams for the past 3 years. He is currently at the Sydney Adventist Hospital, and also has an ongoing staff specialist appointment at Liverpool Public Hospital where he is still actively involved in registrar teaching and multi-disciplinary meetings.

Dr Beng Tan

Radiologist - Sydney

MBBS, FRANZCR, ANZAPNM

Dr Tan is a dual qualified radiologist and nuclear medicine physician. Having completed his radiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, Dr Tan undertook an MRI fellowship at Royal Hobart Hospital, before completing his nuclear medicine training at Royal Prince Alfred and Prince of Wales Hospitals. Dr Tan currently works with Imaging Independently New England, in Tamworth and Armidale, on a part time basis.

Dr Brett Sounness

Radiologist

MBBS, Bachelor of Science - Biotechnology

A University of Queensland Graduate, Dr Sounness has taken every opportunity to travel the world in pursuit of new skills. He has worked as an SHO in the UK for a period, Cycled 5000km across Europe, and travelled extensively across South America to settle at Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital where he is pursuing his Nuclear Medicine Fellowship.

Dr Sounness remains an active participant of the nuclear medicine teaching department and is actively involved in teaching junior radiology registrars, medical students, and international medical graduates. Whilst completing his Fellowship, Dr Sounness had produced a number of recognized publications and presentations and has a strong interest in rural medicine.

Dr Carl Bryant

Radiologist - Sydney

Dr Bryant’s private practice provides full on-site services to the Radiology department at St George Hospital; and Dr Bryant manages all aspects of Radiology reporting within the department. Dr Bryant’s practice is also actively involved in research projects.

Dr Charles Lott

Medical Director

MBBS, FRCS, FRCR, FRANZCR

Dr Lott trained in Australia and in the United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Royal College of Radiologists and Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. He holds specialist recognition in Australia and in the UK. He was Convenor of the RANZCR Annual Scientific Conference in 2008 and has been a past President of AMSIG. In Australia he has worked in both public and private radiology, based at Repatriation Hospital Daw Park SA and with Perrett Medical Imaging (PMI) which later became part of MIA and then of the I-Med Network. He was founding Managing Partner of RadiologySA for 3 years prior to moving to the UK with IPO. His practice included provision of service to areas of the Northern Territory, country South Australia and central NSW. Dr Lott’s interests include musculoskeletal, interventional, orofaciomaxillary and cardiac imaging and he has extensive experience in rural and remote radiology. Following two years as Clinical Director of IPO UK, Charles returned to Australia in 2011 to undertake the role of Medical Director, Imaging Partners Online and is based in Sydney.

Dr Christopher Jones

Radiologist – Sydney

Dr Jones graduated from the University of NSW (Hons) in 1986 and trained at St Vincent’s and St George Hospitals in Sydney.

He has completed an MBA and a Masters degree in Sports Medicine.

He is currently undertaking a Masters in MR Technology. His areas of interest include Emergency Radiology, body imaging and MSK.

He practices radiology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.

Dr David Ashton

Radiologist - Sydney

Dr David Ashton completed his radiology training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Following the completion of his radiology training, Dr Ashton undertook a Neuroradiology fellowship at the Toronto Western Hospital in Canada. Since his return to Australia, Dr Ashton has been working as a locum staff specialist at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and is also a staff specialist at Alfred Medical Imaging. Dr Ashton joined Imaging Partners Online in 2011.

Dr David Pryde

Radiologist - Victoria

MBBS, FRANZCR

Dr. David Pryde graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1970 and subsequently did his residency at St. Vincent’s hospital.

Following Radiology training at St. Vincent’s he entered private practice in 1976 with Radiodiagnostic clinic (later Radclin Medical Imaging) during which time he was director of Medical Imaging at John Fawkner Hospital (previously Sacred Heart Hospital, Moreland) from 1982 until 2005 at which time he joined MDI Radiology as director at Manningham Medical Imaging where he practices currently four days per week.

Ongoing education regarding Radiology to all referrers and colleagues is a particular interest which is pursued by him with some vigour as it also aids in keeping him up to date and focused on his profession

Dr Edward O’Rourke

Radiologist - Melbourne

Dr Edward O’Rourke is a dual-certified Radionuclide Radiologist with extensive experience in all aspects of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Dr O’Rourke is currently working as a diagnostic radiologist and nuclear medicine physician at Peninsula Health and Barwon Medical Imaging, Geelong, PET centre. Dr O’Rourke holds specialist radiologist registration with the GMC UK, and has been assisting deliver Imaging Partners Online’s reporting service for UK clients since 2010.

 

Dr Elizabeth Dillon

Radiologist London

BMedSc(Hons), MBBS, FRANZCR

Dr Dillon completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia and also holds a Bachelor of Medical Science. She worked at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital prior to Diagnostic Radiology training on the WA Interhospital Radiology Training Scheme. She undertook advanced training at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children before moving to London to gain further experience at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. She holds specialist registration in diagnostic radiology in both Australia and the United Kingdom, and her subspecialty interests include paediatric, cross-sectional and emergency radiology.

Dr Frances Doull

Radiologist – Melbourne

MBCHB, DRCOG, DMRD, FRCR

Dr Doull started her Radiology training in Edinburgh and finished at RPAH and Concord Hospitals in Sydney.

She obtained a DMRD in 1982, and her fellowship in 1987.

She has been a VMO at Concord Hospital Sydney since 1987, and has been the managing radiologist of a private practice in Sydney, since 1991.

Dr Doull was NSW State Director of Radiology for Symbion Imaging from 2001 to 2006.

Dr Gerard Goh

Radiologist - London

MBBS, FRANZCR

Dr Goh became a Fellow of the RANZCR in 2010 following the completion of his radiology training through the South Australian Training Scheme, which involved rotations to the Flinders Medical Centre, Women and Children’s Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital while being based at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Dr Goh undertook an Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Beaumont Hospital, Ireland, and is currently working as an Interventional Radiology Consultant and Radiology Trauma Lead at St George’s Hospital London. Dr Goh commenced reporting with IPO in 2011.

Dr Hannah Son

Radiologist - Sydney

MBBS, FRANZCR

Dr Son completed her Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery at the University of New South Wales in 2001, started her radiology training at Western Hospital Melbourne and finished Radiology training at Westmead Hospital in 2010. Dr Son obtained Fellowship with the RANZCR in February 2011, and is currently completing her dual training in Nuclear Medicine at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney.

 

Dr Ian Schmaman

Radiologist - Sydney

Following 19 years in private practice in Johannesburg, Dr Schmaman immigrated to Australia in 1998, after becoming a Fellow of the RANZCR in 1996 and joined Sydney X-Ray in 1999.

Dr Jeff Tam

Having completed his radiology training at the Alfred Hospital in Victoria, Dr Tam is currently completing a fellowship in Interventional radiology at the Alfred Hospital. Dr Tam joined Imaging Partners Online in 2011.

Dr Jeffrey Cameron

Radiologist - Melbourne

Having completed his education in Melbourne, Dr Cameron has completed both his Fellowship with the RANZCR and RCR and holds registration in Australia and as a specialist with the GMC UK. He is also dual qualified as a Nuclear Medicine Specialist. Dr Cameron commenced with Imaging Partners Online in 2007, based at our London offices. Being back in Melbourne, Dr Cameron now works as a consultant diagnostic and Radionuclide radiologist with Barwon Medical Imaging in Geelong full time and specializes in PET CT

Dr John Chamberlain

Radiologist

Dr John Chamberlain is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and trained in radiology at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.

Dr Chamberlain has been a partner in various private practices for the past 20 years, including Melbourne Diagnostic Group, then later worked for Mayne Health Imaging.

He is especially interested in General and Emergency Radiology and Ultrasound.

Dr John Stubbe

Executive Medical Director

John undertook his radiology training in Melbourne (Prince Henry’s and Royal Children’s Hospital) after completing his undergraduate Medical Degree at Melbourne University and Royal Melbourne Hospital. He then joined the Alfred Hospital as a Staff Specialist for 18 months before travelling and working in the UK. Upon returning to Australia, John and his family chose a regional lifestyle and practice initially at Ballarat and then Albury. John developed a strong interest in Interventional Radiology and Practice Management. John undertook his MRI training in Geneva in 1999. Upon his return he became Managing Partner of Border Medical Imaging which subsequently merged with Riverina Group to form Regional Imaging in which John played a pivotal role as Chairman. The Regional Group became one of the early members of the I-Med Network and John subsequently became National Medical Director of I-Med Network and was a board member of both I-Med and Lodestone plc (UK). John resigned from these positions in September 2006. John is a past president of the Australian Association of Provisional Radiologists and the Border Medical Association. John is a founding Principal of Imaging Partners Online and in additional to being a practicing Radiologist within the business, John performs the role of Executive Medical Director.

Dr Kathy Ashton

Radiologist - Sydney

Dr Kathy Ashton completed her radiology training at Westmead Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital, as well as the Westmead Children’s Hospital. Dr Kathy Ashton is also a Breast Imaging Fellow and has worked with the Sydney Breast Clinic as a Consultant Radiologist. Dr Kathy Ashton has since worked in both private practice and public hospitals, with her position as a consultant radiologist with I-Med and VMO radiologist with South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Area Health Service.

Dr Krishna Boddupalli

Radiologist

MBBS FRANZCR

Dr Boddupalli completed his initial radiology training in India, completing his Radiology Fellowship at Christian Medical College and Hospital. He became a Fellow of the RANZCR in 2007 and reports from IPO’s Melbourne reporting centre. Dr Boddupalli is interested in areas of radiology and is heavily involved in the supervision and teaching of registrars and medical students.

Dr Mark Hamlin

Radiologist - Perth

FRANZCR, MBChB, BHB

Dr Hamlin is based in Perth and reports from our Perth reporting office. Dr Hamlin commenced working with Imaging Partners Online in 2010. Having obtained his Fellowship with the RANZCR in 2006, Dr Hamlin relocated in 2008 from New Zealand to Perth where he works as a Consultant Radiologist. Dr Hamlin’s special interests include oncology imaging, non-vascular intervention and mammography.

Dr Marnie Cox

Radiologist - London

Dr Cox joined Imaging Partners Online in 2011. Having completed her radiology training in Auckland, Dr Cox undertook a further Breast Imaging Fellowship in Auckland, followed by a Fellowship in MRI at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

Dr Michael Reeves

Radiologist - Sydney

Having undertaken his Medical and Radiology training at St Guy’s hospital in London, Dr Reeves began working with Castlereagh Imaging in Sydney in 1987, and has maintained a position with the group till date. In addition, Dr Reeves has held VMO positions at Westmead, Nepean, Katoomba and Lithgow Hospitals.

Dr Michelle Thong

Radiologist - Melbourne

MBBS (Hons), FRANZCR

Dr Thong graduated with honours from Monash University in 2001 and completed her training at The Alfred, Melbourne. She undertook an MRI fellowship in 2009.
Her areas of interest include neuroradiology, MRI and trauma imaging.        

Dr Miranda Miocevic

Radiologist : Melbourne

MBChB FRANZCR

Dr Miocevic graduated from Auckland Medical School NZ and did her radiology training in Auckland before transferring to Melbourne to undertake a musculoskeletal fellowship in 2004. She then completed a breast imaging fellowship in 2005 in conjunction with Breastscreen Victoria.

Since that time Dr Miocevic has worked in private practice in Melbourne and has also been a visiting radiologist to the Riverina for Regional Imaging.

Her main interests are in sports imaging having been further aided by time spent in San Francisco under the guidance of David Stoller and breast MRI for which Dr Miocevic completed intensive training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester USA in 2007.

Dr Neil Berlinski

Radiologist

Dr Berlinski completed his medical degree at University of Cape Town (South Africa), and subsequently moved to Australia where he has lived for 18 years.

Dr Berlinski undertook his radiology training at the Austin Hospital Melbourne and completed it in Perth. He is currently working in private practice in Melbourne as Managing Radiologist at South Eastern Private Hospital.

Dr Berlinski’s interests include minor interventional procedures and sports medicine.

Dr Nimali Silva

Radiologist - Sydney

Having completed her medical studies at the University of NSW, Dr Silva currently holds the position of Managing Radiologist at Sutherland Imaging Centre. Dr Silva also works with Primary Health Care Imaging. Dr Silva’s subspecialty interests are MRI, cross sectional imaging and Musculoskeletal Imaging.

Dr Peijin Tew

Radiologist - Sydney

Having completed her Radiology Training at Liverpool Public and Concord Repatriation General Hospitals, along with a Body Imaging Fellowship at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Dr Tew currently holds a Part Time Staff Specialist position at Campbelltown Hospital in Sydney in addition to working in the private sector. Dr Tew's areas of interest include cross-sectional imaging, oncology related and emergency radiology. She also has a strong interest in radiology registrar teaching.

Dr Peter Duffy

Dr Duffy is an experienced senior Radiologist, having been Chairman of Pittwater Radiology Partners, with a successful private practice in Sydney, Dr Duffy also held the position of President of the Australian Diagnostic Imaging Association and senior RAAF medical officer, previous officer of the RANZCR, ASUM and AMA and recently the ADIA which involved educational responsibilities with respect to diagnostic imaging.

Dr Raad Findakly

Radiologist Melbourne

Dr Findakly completed his medical at Baghdad University (Iraq) and worked in Iraq, Jordan and New Zealand before moving to Australia in 2003. He completed his radiology training at Auckland and Whangarie Hospitals in New Zealand. In Australia, Dr Findakly has worked in worked in private practices and also public hospitals in Melbourne.  His special interests include Chest Imaging, Breast Imaging and body CT scan.

Dr Robert Travis

Consultant Radiologist

Dr Bob Travis qualified in medicine from Sheffield University in the UK and trained in radiology in London and Auckland. He has worked in private and public hospital practice in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Dr Travis has a broad interest in musculoskeletal, body and breast imaging . Bob has held multiple company directorships and has been a councillor to the RANZCR representing New Zealand.

Dr Rodney Taft

Radiologist - Melbourne

Having completed Radiology at Prince Henry’s Hospital in Melbourne, Dr Taft also undertook training at St Thomas’ Hospital in London and the National Hospital for Nervous Disease in London. Being a Fellow of both the RANZCR and RCR, Dr Taft returned to Melbourne where he became Senior Partner in his private practice. Dr Taft has extensive expertise in BreastScreen and is currently working part time for BreastScreen Victoria.

Dr Roy Thomas

Radiologist - Sydney

MBBS, DMRD, DipNB, FRANZCR

Dr Thomas attained his Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2006, and currently works as a Senior Staff Specialist at Gosford Hospital. Gosford Hospital Emergency Department is the third busiest in NSW, and the hospital is also a teaching hospital for Newcastle University, which requires Dr Thomas to undertake teaching of junior medical officers and registrars. Dr Thomas’ subspecialty interests musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal and cardiac imaging. Dr Thomas is registered with the GMC UK as a specialist, and reports for IPO’s UK based clients.

Dr Seamus Newell

Radiologist - London

MBChB, BSc, FRANZCR;

Based from our London reporting centre, Dr Newell completed his medical training at the University of Otago and Wellington School of Clinical Medicine, and his radiology training at Wellington Regional Hospital. Dr Newell is experienced in all aspects of general radiology including x-ray, MR, CT and US as well as performing general interventional procedures. Dr Newell’s particular interests are neurological and trauma imaging. Dr Newell joined Imaging Partners Online in 2011.

 

Dr Shadley Fataar

Radiologist - Sydney

Dr Fataar has worked in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, he is currently based in Coffs Harbour on the NSW Mid North Coast as a Senior Specialist, head of the department at Coffs Harbour Health Campus and senior lecturer at UNSW Coffs Harbour. Dr Fataar commenced sessional work with IPO in 2011.

Dr Stephen Fasulakis

Radiologist - Melbourne

Cconcentrating mainly on Interventional Radiology, Dr Fasulakis has extensive experience in all modalities of radiology, having worked in both Australia and South Africa. Dr Fasulakis is a specialist in Paediatric Radiology, and has Fellowship status with both the RANZCR, and the College of Radiology South Africa. Dr Fasulakis is a member of the Australian Society of Paediatric Imaging (Secretary 2003-2005), Interventional Radiology Society of Australia, and Society of Paediatric Interventional Radiology and is the consultant-in-charge of Intervention at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.

Dr Stephen Ward

Radiologist – Melbourne

Dr Ward is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and trained at the Prince Henry’s Hospital. He has a wealth of experience in the private sector, being managing radiologist for South Eastern Private Hospital for over 10 years and working as a partner, chairman and director of radiology in various private practices including Melbourne Diagnostic Group and Mayne Health Diagnostic Imaging. Dr Ward was Clinical Director of Mayne Health and Symbion Imaging from 2003 and 2009. His areas of special interest include CT and MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Orthopaedic and Interventional Radiology.

Dr Vivek Ramachandran

Radiologist - Melbourne

Dr Ramachandran completed his medical degree at Mysore University (India) before moving to Australia in 2004. He completed his radiology fellowship in 2006 and worked as an interventional and diagnostic radiologist in regional NSW. Dr Ramachandran’s work includes Interventional Radiology at Western Hospital in Victoria and his most recent work has been as an Interventional Radiologist at Box Hill Hospital, Western Hospital and Frankston Hospital in Victoria. He has a special interest in vascular/interventional radiology, breast and cross sectional imaging.

Dr Yuan Ling

Dr Ling undertook his Medical studies at the University of Melbourne before commencing his Radiology registrar training at Geelong Hospital and completing this at Western Hospital. Dr Ling was most recently working at Frankston Hospital for the Imaging Independently Peninsula group before moving to London in 2010 to work for Imaging Partners Online as an overnight reporting radiologist for Australian clients.

Our Radiologists

All radiologists working in all our reporting centres are members of the College of Radiologists (RANZCR) and hold medical board registration (or eligible for registration) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Many also have further sub-specialisation qualifications and experience, thus enabling Image Partners Online to make available to its clients an avenue for sub-speciality reporting where sought, second opinions.

All Imaging Partners Online radiologists participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME).
